†pAndU vs. St JOhN cAmp†

Im back!
Was in Pandu camp (i know im an outsider~!) on the 29/6-1/7/2007...
This is the first camp i went together with my school(most of them are form 1s and 2s)...
It was a bit weird to know that im going to meet them again in school...
Usually i wont be able to see many of the people i met in my previous camps...

Anyway..
after we bought our snacks, we gathered in our school...
Then we had a bumpy journey to the campsite which is in Broga (Excel Training Centre)...
It was really hot!
While searching for our tent, we realised that the tents that we will be sleeping in were surrounded by durian and cempedak trees! What an unstrategic place to plant something like that!!

That night we had our jungle-trekking and rafting..
The jungle-trekking was not really that challenging compared with my first one because the returning route was just a prepared road and torchlights were allowed...
We returned to our campsite at around 2 in the morning...
We got to abandon our tents and sleep in the hall which was air-conditioned thanks to the ants!!
However, that night, some of us(around 10+ people including me) got stomachache..
And it went on till the next morning!=S
It was really a hard time and the "day" jungle trekking was being postponed and was replaced by obstacle courses and flying fox..

The obstacle courses were quite challenging..(this is my first time)
But the flying fox was short~!
Then we had telematch in the evening...
It was really hot again!
I only joined the first match because was feeling sick and had just recovered...
So helped out one form one girl whose left eye got hit by a water balloon..
At night, we had our Malam Kebudayaan..
presented our banana song(my group was Activ8)...
then we had a banana fight with other groups!that was quite fun...
After that, we got to learn 2 pandu puteri's songs and played some games...

On the third day which was the last day...
we went for the second jungle-trekking which was the same with the one we went at night..
The scenary in the jungle was beautiful..!
We cooked on top of the moutain which was near to a waterfall...
I enjoyed building the fire!
It was really nice to work together with my group..
The food was also not bad and the facilitator who worked with us was a nice person!
In the evening we went back home..

Anyway...after this camp...
i found out that the feeling of authority can really blind someone that much...
What is happening to this world?
Where is the innocence that we once had when we were young?
Where is the trust?
Where is the compassion?
Life will get more unbearable if this goes on!

*pictures are not with me...(tesco batteries are not to be trusted..sobsob..)*
