the coolness of the light

Had been staying at my house for some days without going anywhere except around my neighbourhood and my old house. Sometimes its pretty relaxing to have that silence peace around me, but sometimes it can be too much of the feeling of being trapped in the same place while looking at people going in and out freely. Maybe its because I had been busy this almost two months, travelling up and down non-stop. Guess this sudden emptiness of travelling is good to force some brakes in myself. I have to settle myself down before the school begins and get myself calm and ready for anything that will come by.

During this period of time, I had grabbed a book that I had bought using my PMR money (cziplee). That is my first firsthand novel book I had bought by myself. The title is
The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards.I was busy when I bought this so had only managed to read half of the story. Well, after reading the story once again, I find this story pretty unique. This whole story is mainly about a father, who was a doctor, had given out his newborn daughter who had Down's syndrome, to his nurse, asking her to bring his daughter to an institute where all the other children had the same case as his daughter. Then, he lied to his wife saying that she died. It was 1965. Well, he thought that he had taken control of everything, it turned out that it was a pretty big mistake. Anyway, the nurse did not send his daughter there because she just couldn't after looking at the shabbiness of the place. Instead, she brought along her to another place and raised her herself. As the doctor thought that he had spared his wife and his son, who was the baby girl's twin, the sadness of knowing that their daughter had Down's syndrome, it turned out that his family were not the same anymore after everyone thought that the baby girl died. Everyone was really sad and the father was put in dilemma. Then, the family slowly falls apart, day by day, and drifted further and further. Well, at the end, after like 20+ years, the baby girl didn't die as predicted at the age of 12. She survived, under the care of the nurse. After the father passed away from a sudden heart attack while jogging, the nurse then told the mother all the stories.

I was just thinking that, sometimes one may think that everything is in control, thinking that one's perspective of view is always correct, while actually its not at all. Really, its not at all. If you don't know, then explore and experience it first without ruining others who had not even stepped a foot out. Its like a rotten durian you know. No yellow flesh inside but brown and black. EEWwwwww..
Ah, had been sitting on the floor typing all of this. I guess I had better go and pack more stuffs. So, if I can't make it back again here on time, I would like to say

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!!

and

OLYMPIC is COMING!!

bye~ =)

memoria

It was my greatgrandfather's 100th birthday last Saturday.
I was in Penang for 3 days to celebrate his birthday.

My greatgranpa..
Pretty healthy still..

Well, anyway, the reason why i have been faithful in updating my blog is because i don't want any memories to be forgotten just like that.
Every events, every precious events, I will try to write them down in this little journal here.
Hope that all the memories will be preserved this way.

I'm going to shift to my new house today.
Kinda sad to leave my old house after staying for about 14 years.
It's like my Kampung Kota to me.
Well, it'll just be left as memories now..
All the things that happened here..
Whether good or bad..
Will just be left

as memories...

MUAR to HOPE

Yesterday, I just came back from Muar, Johor after a one night stay.
Went to some places there, so i'll just let the pictures speak.

Yes! We feed the monkeys in some orchard.
Really a whole bunch of monkeys around 30-40.

Some of the monkeys are pretty aggressive too especially the males...They just snatch your bag of nuts when you are too low or aren't looking.

A mummy monkey and its kid...Thin chance of survival this one...Really bad in the skill of taking food from the visitors... Hope they survive tho..hehehe..=P

We are off to the Muara! Us, beside of Sg. Muar and the sea...nice view there...=)

So thats my short trip in Muar.
Anyway, today, I went to the Celebration of Hope.
Really had fun there and I'm really happy that i went despite of my health condition at that time.
I just was reminded that LOVE is the biggest thing in this world and without LOVE, we will not be able to live happily or to see the truth in anything on this Earth!
In another message, if you want to see and understand things, open up your heart instead of closing it and clear off any prejudice you had in anyone or anything. I mean REALLY REALLY clear off! The light will definitely flood into you and you'll definitely feel better.

Choose LOVE instead of HATE!=)

I'll be updating on Monday, if i can.
So see ya!;D

Two days ticked off~

It seems like the automatic gear in my brain has been stuck quite badly especially today..
Guess the speed is too fast until it got stuck somewhere and jam the whole system of my brain..
Have to blame the melatonin again..i don't know why they are staying longer, this time with some different breed..=S
Well anyway, here I am to update about my past few days with my cousins, Meyven and Ah Boy, and aunt..

Watching my brother in some operation..er..sort of..

With them in Metropoint, and I saw my church members with the kids carolling there!

Then, i found out there was a BOOK sale at the top floor!AND it was the LAST day of it!So grabbed a few books from there..hope they are not bad...=)

Next day, which is on Monday, went to Sunway for some shopping..Had a really NICE and SUperlicious nasi lemak with rendang chicken there...

While enjoying the mouth watering nasi rendang, my sort-of-stuck brain and blurry eye chose not to see the obvious danger that was lying ahead among the rice...
Tossing about the little black thing with my fork and spoon around my plate, i thought it was just some skin of a nut, but it turned out to be a small cockroach!
Glad i didn't eat it though..=S

How pretty eh the cockroach?

At night, we went to Haji Samuri satay to have some satay..its been a long time since i last ate satay!=)

I'll be in Muar on Tuesday and Wednesday! So till here then! Bye!=)

Durian Head!

Today, I realised fully of some things in this world..

Things that I only heard of from other people or rather out of my consciousness which is now facing right straight in front of me..

Well, its really unpredictable, some things in this world..

Lets say, a durian!
You can first see it as thorny, naughty, hurting and it smells to some certain people! But when you open it, the yellow colour of the durian flesh will shine upon your face and leave you alone feeling surprise and awed by its goodness...
Yeah, the effect is something like that but more than that... I hope that I can find and see more effect like this in life!=)

Nah!

DURIAN FOR YOU!!

FUSION Camp!

Here I am ready to update about the camp i went last Saturday after the LOONG sleep and rest!
I know I'm supposed to update about the Beijing trip and also some events that happened last week.
But well, just wait okay?=)

Okay, Fusion Camp!

Its a 4 days 3 nights camp held in STM Seremban.
I didn't expect it to be that splendid but it actually turned out to be not bad..
I simply enjoyed myself except for the food lar..*the last day of lunch was not bad tho. got some spices there =P*

Well, in this camp, there are 5 groups altogether which is Angkooz, H.O.T., Funky 14, Bombastic and Renovatio.
I was in Angkooz.=)
Although there were some confusion, i really enjoyed myself with my team mates. =))

By the way, in this camp, of all the games i gone through, the Treasure Hunt which was called Owl Hunt was the best Treasure Hunt game i had ever went to before.

It was simply amazing and brain-cracking!
AND it was held at 12 MIDNIGHT with only one candle and one handphone light to light our way around for the clues! *add more points*
Amazing..=)

Well, during this camp too, this word 'COURAGE' is placed into my heart.
I am actually a timid girl.
If there is any risk in taking any decision or any action, I will just give up in doing it and sit back behind wasting my life.
It's just the fear of challenging myself and making decisions until it affects my life with God.
Imagining myself like a runaway ugly pot fearing the hand of the Maker who is trying to shape me to a better pot.=S
I simply don't want that to happen.
He told me to place all the fear in Him and to stop thinking of so many things that will end up in stopping me to do what i should do in anything. =) .I'll really have to exercise on that!

In conclusion, I'm just so glad that i went to the camp.=)

Here are some pictures i took during the camp.
Glad that I remembered my camera was with me in the camp!

My group discussing about somethings

The opening of the Tribe Event

Our theme is Father's Love.

The BIGGEST hibiscus plant i had ever seen with MANY hibiscus flowers too!How pretty!

Adeline, me and Esther...last day!!I didn't take pictures during all the games..how wasted right?=(...priceless memories to be preserved..

Me and Maggie, after endless pictures we took, only she willfully do the Angkooz sign..aha..

Oh my gosh! What was Bryan doing there???hahaha!

The supposely funny faces there...but it turned out weird!haha...!!

Anyway, I hope that the Angkooz fighting fish will survive under the care of Jeshuren! Hope it can survive long!=)

Woof! Woof!

As I was just waiting for my page to load in my computer, i called out my dog just for the sake of disturbing her from her sleep.

Of course she did not move or in fact maybe she just did not hear me..

As I looked at her stomach rising up and down with her legs kicking at times, I start to wonder

"Does dog dream?"

According to a professor, YES!

Dogs do dream!

In fact, all animals dream!

So, what do they dream of?

Bones? Balls? It's lover? Big kennel? Me??

No one knew for certain that animals dreamed the way we do, which can involve replaying events or at least components of events that occurred while we were awake," said Matthew Wilson of MIT's Center for Learning and Memory. "We looked at the firing patterns of a collection of individual cells to determine the content of rats' dreams. We know that they are in fact dreaming and their dreams are connected to actual experiences."

Okay, so the examples above are accepted!

Well, then another thought came by.

Does dog have nightmares?

And this is what i found..

Abused animals have post traumatic stress just like humans. Well cared for & loved animals (my dog) can still have nightmares too, but theirs are different from abused animals. For instance , a cared for dog may be distressed from a dream of not getting a daily treat or feelings of neglect if they think another animal is getting favored over them. All animals have dreams of fighting enemies,or chasing prey

I wonder if my dog dreams the same kind of nightmare...

If only I can talk in dog's language..

If only...

My dog (sorry for the blur image because i can't find for my digital camera)

---------------------------------------------------------------

At last my connection works!
Had been trying to connect for so long!Phew!

Anyway, on Thursday, I'll be flying off to Beijing with my family and relatives for 8 days!
Maybe my brain is a bit slow in digesting facts or it is just originally slow, I only start to receive the fact that I'm going there yesterday!
I didn't even countdown till the day I'm going there..
It's like being woken up from a deep sleep in a comfortable sauna.
But well, now I'm quite excited about it!=D

After that, it'll be the time to change the den!

and then FUSION CAMP!!!!

This is not a bad holiday for me compared to last year where every moment ticks by so slowly!

I want to talk more here but i can't incase this connection is suddenly cut off!

So, just want to say farewell here and have a good time!=D
Ciaoz!

Brokenness..
Yeah, it broke again..
Prejudice..
Yeah, it happens again..
Tearing..
Yeah, it is torn again..
Judging eyes..
Yeah, they scanned again..
Revenge..
Yes, it comes again, this time with more brutality..

i wonder when will it stop?

Eyebrows raised with tired eyes..
while the knife is pierced in again..
Hurt
Alone in this cliff..

Just a tiny step..
And a little force..
Towards the back
From the cliff

i need You again..

And i agree, i am bad..

+shortie tortie updatie+

i love the butterflies up there..=)

It's been a long time since i last update this blog..
Okay, just a short update here!

It is holiday now! PURE holiday!
Well, to me, this Nov and Dec holiday is too short for my liking.
Maybe it's because last year i had 3 months holiday altogether and this one and a half month holiday sounded too short!

But, these two weeks, i had really enjoyed myself.
I relaxed, bowling-ed, read, watched movies, visited house, church-ed, badminton-ed, shopped, spent time with friends, operated the frog's stomach, thought, planned, fellowshipped, celebrated, gathered, readjusted, recovered, observed, discovered, made bookmark, scrabbled etc..
Really enjoyed these kind of non-groaning season because there is no exams and homeworks!

Hope that you out there are enjoying your holidays too!=)
Till here then, bye!

p/s : Maybe i'll update again in the beginning of December...
