Me and my mum decided to mess around the kitchen last week for fun. Thus, we decided to bake a pineapple butter cake! It had been a long time since my last home-made cake-i think it was around august last year. Its quite an easy cake to bake actually.
tadaa!
though abit hangus on top due to the temperature, but after removing the black layer, its actually mouth-watering!
Easy huh?;)
Anyway, another small event to be remembered. Went out with Sandy the other day when i saw THIS!
i know, like what a big deal huh?
but its BIG to ME!haha!i just can't resist to buy this box and also..
THIS!
they are quite cheap you know.
At that time, i still didn't really have any idea on how i'm to hang this at my house because i didn't have a christmas tree!
Well, first choice - go back to my old house and chop down the BIG christmas tree that had been planted since i was about 5 years old. (not a really a good idea as the roots are pretty huge by now)
That leave the second choice, the last indeed-just hang them across my dining hall with a string or something.*i decided on this*
When i was taking my release-my-absolute-tiredness nap on sunday, my mum suddenly crept up to me. I was still blurring from the sleep when i heard the excitement in her voice.
So i woke up to see what she was excited of.
Lo and behold!
Guess what she and my dad bought??
Yes, i think you might guess correctly!
a WONDERFUL CHARMFUL BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS TREE!
*blink blink*
i never would have thought i'll get one!haha
i know i know..im making a mountain out of a mole hill it seems!
but hey!maybe not to you, it IS a mountain to me..to ME okay??*grin*
to own a christmas tree is sort of my childhood dream. i used to admire the christmas trees especially in the Home Alone movies...memories..hehe.
anyway, it was truly a sweet surprise!
He seems huge here!haha
Brother trying his best to hang the loose star on top
the angel
have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!
